During this workshop, you’ll restore your energy through relaxing, prop supported, postures that reactivate your body’s natural rest system. While in the restorative postures, Reiki will be given to aid students into deeper relaxation, release energy blocks and increase the flow of energy in the mind, body and soul.
Reiki is a Japanese technique that involves light, non-evasive touch. The client is fully clothed.

Restorative Yoga is a supported yoga, typically done on the floor. It requires props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets to help you rest and relax in your pose. Everyone can do restorative yoga if it is adapted to their needs and limitations.
Benefits of Restorative Yoga:
• Relaxes and regenerates mind and body
• Balances the nervous system (take yourself from the “Fight or Flight” mode to relaxation mode)
• Improves flexibility
• Helps ease tension in areas where you hold stress—like your hips, back and shoulders
• Improves sleep
Props are provided and pre-registration is appreciated as the class size is small and intimate. If you have your own props or mats, feel free to bring those.
