DESCRIPTION
Movement for Mobility is a combination of Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and Yin Yoga. FRC is a movement modality that focuses on mobility development, joint strength and body control. FRC helps you to move safely, enhances mobile and movement potential, and improves the function of the central nervous system.

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue of the body (such as your fascia, ligaments, joints and bones). Students will encounter a few postures involving seated twists and folds. Asanas (or postures) will be held anywhere from two-to-five minutes. Yin Yoga helps to: lengthen the fascia, increase flexibility, boost circulation and reduce stress.

PROPS NEEDED
1) a yoga mat or carpeted floor, 2) chair, bench, couch or bed (if student prefers to sit for the standing sequence of the FRC portion of class), 3) a towel or blanket for under the knees, and 4) two yoga blocks or hardcover thick books.
